Street Condition Survey
In April 2011, the Village contracted with the engineering firm Baxter & Woodman, Inc. to complete a Street Condition Survey of all Village Streets. As part of the street condition survey a field survey to determine pavement conditions was completed. This data was then analyzed based on industry standards for rating roadway conditions and each block segment of roadway received a score from 0-100 called a Pavement Condition Index (PCI). A key element of the plan was to conduct a new survey on a five-year interval in order to document existing conditions, assess the overall condition of Village streets, and make updated recommendations for improvement based on current conditions. In December 2016, Baxter and Woodman, Inc. updated the Village's street condition survey.
